<br />,.. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 10. 2 0 1 0.. 48>> <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $70,216.66 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEP ARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br />SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2009-2010 <br />GRANTS FUND TO BE USED FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES <br />EQUIPMENT, SUPPLIES, AND TRAINING. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of$70,216.66 from the <br />Virginia Department of Emergency Medical Services and appropriates said funds in the <br />FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund. <br /> <br />2. That said funds shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue, and <br />Emergency Services for emergency medical services training, supplies, and equipment. <br /> <br />3. That nolocal match is required in order to obtain said funds. <br /> <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Funds are increased <br />by $70,216.66. <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 8, 2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
