<br />ORDINANCE IIO.~ 0 1 ~ ,-43, " <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $300,000 FROM THE <br />FY 2009-2010 GENERAL FUND TO THE FY 2009-2010 CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENTS FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF RENOVATING CERTAIN <br />FIRE STATIONS. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the transfer of $300,000 previously appropriated in the FY 2009- <br />2010 General Fund to the FY 2009-2010 Capital Improvements Fund is hereby <br />authorized, and said sum is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Capital Improvements <br />Fund. <br /> <br />2. That said funds shall be used for the purpose of performing renovations at <br />Fire Stations No.7 and No. 10 in order to make them compliant with the Americans with <br />Disabilities Act and to address bathroom and bunkroom deficiencies to accommodate <br />both genders. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Capital Improvements Fund <br />are hereby increased by $300,000. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on May 25,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
