<br />R-09-34 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A <br />MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT WITH THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR OF THE <br />REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY NAVY REGION MID-ATLANTIC FOR FIRE <br />FIGHTING AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sign a Mutual Aid Agreement with the Program <br />Director of the Regional Public Safety Navy Region Mid-Atlantic for fire fighting and <br />emergency medical services, and that said Agreement be substantially the same as the one <br />attached to this resolution and identified as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be effective upon the date of <br />its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />June 23, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
