<br />R-09-69 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING A DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY MADE <br />BY THE CITY MANAGER ON NOVEMBER 12,2009 IN CONNECTION WITH <br />AN EXTREME WEATHER CONDITION. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the <br />Declaration of Local Emergency made by City Manager Kenneth L. Chandler on <br />November 12,2009, for the extreme weather condition commonly known as "The <br />November Nor'easter," a copy of which is attached hereto, is hereby confirmed, pursuant <br />to Sec. 2-658 ofthe Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006). <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 24,2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
