<br />o <br /> <br /> <br />It~.?~!ii.~ ~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA (2006) BY ADOPTING A NEW APPENDIX B THERETO ENTITLED <br />"DOWNTOWN D-2 ZONING DISTRICT." <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the document entitled "Uptown D2 District Form-Based Code," as <br />recommended by the Planning Commission and on file in the Clerk's Office and in the <br />Department of Planning, is adopted as Appendix B, entitled "Downtown D-2 Zoning <br />District," of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006). <br /> <br />2. That the Zoning Map is hereby amended to define the boundaries of the <br />Downtown D-2 zoning district as set out in Exhibit A and the building envelope <br />standards boundaries as set out in Exhibit B, both attached hereto and made parts hereof. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on January 1,2010. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 24, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
