<br />n~nINANCE I[~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,080 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />SURGICAL MASKS TO BE USED DURING A DECLARED PANDEMIC <br />EVENT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $10,800 from the Virginia <br />Department of Health and appropriates said sum in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund for <br />the purchase of surgical masks to be used during a declared pandemic event. <br /> <br />2. <br />$10,800. <br /> <br />That estimated revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Grants are increased by <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 10,2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
