<br />IlllllAtII...3..2 ~!~, <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $43,840 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEP ARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE, AND EMERGENCY <br />SERVICES FOR THE CITY'S EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant in the amount of $43,840 from the Virginia <br />Department of Emergency Management for use by the Department of Fire, Rescue, and <br />Emergency Services for the City's Emergency Management Program; and <br /> <br />2. That said funds are appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund, and <br />estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by $43,840. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 25, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
