<br /> <br />2009-83 <br /> <br />." -,.........--'~~'~.~~._-, <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $30,000 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEP ARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE, AND <br />EMERGENCY SERVICES AS LEAD AGENCY FOR THE SOUTHSIDE <br />REGIONAL HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TEAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant in the amount of $30,000 from the Virginia <br />Department of Emergency Management for use by the Portsmouth Department of Fire, <br />Rescue, and emergency Services as Lead Agency for the Southside Regional Hazardous <br />Materials Team: and <br /> <br />2. That said funds are appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund, and <br />estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by $30,000. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 25, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
