<br />8ANCE It~.09-?6 _ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,855 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES AND TO <br />APPROPRIATE $20,815 IN THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY <br />THE OFFICE OF THE COMMONWEALTH'S ATTORNEY FOR THE V-STOP <br />PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City ofPortsrnouth, Virginia.: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant in the amount of $25,855 from the Virginia <br />Department of Criminal Justice Services for use by the Office of the Commonwealth's <br />Attorney for the V-STOP Program. <br /> <br />2. That a cash match in the amount of$I,424 and an in-kind match of $5,040 <br />are required. <br /> <br />3. That the amount of$20,815 is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Grants <br />Fund, and that estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by $20,815. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 11, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
