<br />ORDINANCE Iill ~ 0 ~ ~r 7 ~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $182,500 <br />FROM THE OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF THE SUPREME <br />COURT OF VIRGINIA AND TO APPROPRIATE SAID FUNDS IN THE FY <br />2009-2010 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT <br />COURT FOR THE PORTSMOUTH ADULT DRUG TREATMENT COURT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant in the amount of $182,500 from the Office of the <br />Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia for use by the Third Judicial <br />Circuit Court for the Portsmouth Adult Drug Treatment Court. <br /> <br />2. That no City cash match is required. <br /> <br />3. That $182,500 is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund, and that <br />estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by said amount. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 11, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
