<br />ORlIWG 11.2.0.,09\ 7 ~... <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $317,522 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES <br />AND TO APPROPRIATE SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS <br />FUND FOR USE BY THE OFFICE OF THE COMMONWEALTH'S ATTORNEY <br />FOR THE VICTIM WITNESS PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant in the amount of $317,522 from the Virginia <br />Department of Criminal Justice Services for use by the Office of the Commonwealth's <br />Attorney for the Victim Witness Program. <br /> <br />2. That no cash match is required. <br /> <br />3. That the sum of $31 7,522 is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Grants <br />Fund, and that estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by $317,522. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 11,2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
