<br />ORDINANCE II. ,2S) O~'\ii~, <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,033.76 <br />FROM THE LIBRARY OF VIRGINIA AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN <br />THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE CLERK OF THE <br />CIRCUIT COURT TO PURCHASE MICROFILM EQUIPMENT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $7,033.76 from the Library <br />of Virginia to be used by the Clerk of the Circuit Court to purchase microfilm equipment. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of $7,033.76 is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Grants <br />Fund, and estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by the amount of$7,033.76. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 28, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
