<br />ORDINANCE lO~ocl~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE IN THE FY 2009-2010 CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENTS FUND THE SUM OF $891,500 RECEIVED FROM THE <br />FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION THROUGH THE CONGESTION <br />MITIGA TION AND AIR QUALITY PROGRAM (CMAQ) TO REPLACE THE <br />TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION AT THE ALEXANDER'S CORNER <br />INTERSECTION. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $891,500, received from the <br />Federal Highway Administration Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Program <br />(CMAQ), in the FY 2009-2010 Capital Improvements Fund. <br /> <br />2. That said funds shall be used for a new project to replace the traffic <br />signalization at the Alexander's Corner intersection. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Capital Improvements Fund <br />are increased by $891,500. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 28, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
