<br /> <br />1IO.2oo~~t> ... <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $250,000 FROM THE FY <br />2008-2009 CITY GARAGE FUND AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE <br />FY 2008-2009 GENERAL FUND TO ASSIST IN REDUCING THE SHORTFALL <br />IN THE FY 2008-2009 GENERAL FUND. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the sum of $250,000 is hereby transferred from the FY 2008-2009 <br />City Garage Fund and appropriated in the FY 2008-2009 General Fund to assist in <br />reducing the FY 2008-2009 General Fund shortfall. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenues in the FY 2008-2009 General Fund are increased <br />by $250,000. <br /> <br />3, That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption, <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 23,2009, <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
