<br />ORDINANCE IiDt~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER THE SUM OF $500,000 FROM THE FY 2008- <br />2009 RISK MANAGEMENT FUND AND TO APPROPRIATE $500,000 IN THE <br />FY 2008-2009 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND AND TO TRANSFER $300,000 <br />FROM THE CIP PROJECT NO. 17507, PARK VIEW ACQUISITION, TO THE <br />CIP PROJECT NO. 15907, DISPOSITION OF SCHOOL PROPERTIES, IN THE <br />CAPIT AL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE DEMOLITION OF THE <br />FORMER HUNT -MAPP SCHOOL BUILDING LOCATED ON WILLETT <br />DRIVE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1, That the sum of $500,000, received in insurance proceeds from the former <br />Hunt-Mapp Middle School fire and previously appropriated in the FY 2008-2009 Risk <br />Management Fund be transferred from said Fund and appropriated in the FY 2008-2009 <br />Capital Improvement Fund, Disposition of School Properties Project, to be used for the <br />cost of demolishing the former Hunt-Mapp Middle School building, <br /> <br />2, That the sum of $300,000, previously appropriated to the Park View <br />acquisition project be transferred to the Disposition of School Properties Project in the <br />FY 2008-2009 Capital Improvements Fund to be used for the cost of demolishing the <br />former Hunt-Mapp Middle School building. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2008-2009 Capital Improvement Fund <br />be increased by the sum of $500,000, <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 23, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
