<br />ORllINAtU If.?~~ · <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A PUBLIC SAFETY ANSWERING POINT <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $134,562 FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF <br />VIRGINIA WIRELESS E-911 SERVICES BOARD AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS FUND TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR <br />EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a Public Safety Answering Point grant in the <br />amount of $134,562 from the Commonwealth of Virginia Wireless E-911 Services Board <br />for use by the Police Department for emergency communications technology and <br />equipment. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of$134,562 is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Grants <br />Fund, and estimated revenues in said fund are increased by $134,562, <br /> <br />3, That no local matching funds are required, <br /> <br />4..
