<br />ORmNANCE.~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF <br />AGRICULTURE IN THE AMOUNT OF $677,165 AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION, AND LEISURE SERVICES FOR <br />THE 2009 USDA SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture in the <br />amount of $677,165 to be used by the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Leisure <br />Services for the 2009 USDA Summer Food Program. <br /> <br />2, That the sum of $677,165 is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Grants <br />Fund, and estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by $677,165. <br /> <br />3. That no local matching funds are required, <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption, <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 23, 2009, <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
