<br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $119,679.77 <br />FROM THE FY08 HAMPTON ROADS METROPOLITAN MEDICAL <br />RESPONSE SYSTEM AND HOSPITAL PREPAREDNESS GRANT PROGRAM <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS FUND <br />FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF GENERATOR POWER AT <br />AN ALTERNATE CARE SITE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts $119,679,77 in funds from the FY08 <br />Hampton Roads Metropolitan Medical Response System and Hospital Preparedness <br />Grant Program for the purchase and installation of generator power at an alternate care <br />site <br />2, That estimated revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund are increased <br />by $119,679,77, and said amount is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund, <br /> <br />3, That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption, <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on June 23, 2009, <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
