<br />ORIlHWU 10. ~O!ii:~~,~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $74,848.80 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIA TING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2008-2009 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />THE FY 2009 "FOUR FOR LIFE" EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES <br />PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $74,848.80 from the <br />Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services to be used by the Department of Fire, <br />Rescue, and Emergency Services for the FY 2009 "Four for Life" Emergency Medical <br />Services Program, <br /> <br />2, That the sum of $74,848.80 is hereby appropriated in the FY 2008-2009 <br />Grants Fund for said purpose, and that estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by <br />the same amount. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on May 26,2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
