<br />k. K-9 Corps <br /> <br />Any sworn officer of the Police Department assigned to the K-9 <br />Corps shall be allowed an hour's pay per day for canine care and <br />maintenance. This time will be reflected as hours worked and be paid <br />at the officer's hourly rate. On working days these duties will be <br />performed within the scheduled hours. When the canine is housed at <br />the canine facility, the officer will receive no compensation for those <br />days. <br /> <br />I. City Assessor's Office <br /> <br />The following pay incentives are provided for the professional staff <br />of the City Assessor's Office in addition to the pay structure in the <br />current pay plan: <br /> <br />1. An allowance equal to 3% of the employee's current <br />annual pay rate upon obtaining the Assessment <br />Administrative Specialist (IAAO) designation. <br /> <br />2. An allowance equal to 5% of the employee's current <br />annual pay rate upon obtaining the Residential <br />Evaluation Specialist (IAAO/SRA) designation. <br /> <br />3. An allowance equal to 5% of the employee's current <br />annual pay rate upon obtaining the Certified Assessment <br />Evaluation (IAAO/MAI) designation. Employees who <br />have previously received the 5% allowance for the <br />Residential Evaluation Specialist designation shall <br />receive an additional increase of 5%, for a total of 10%. <br /> <br />13 <br />
