<br />OR AHCE "O~2<lQ,~?<4 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH, MENTAL <br />RET ARDA TION, AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID SUM IN THE FY 2008-2009 BEHAVIORAL HEAL THCARE SERVICES <br />FUND OPERATING BUDGET TO HELP FUND SERVICES FOR CITY <br />RESIDENTS FOUND NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts a grant award of$2,000 from the Virginia <br />Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Substance Abuse Services to help <br />fund services to be provided by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare Services to City <br />residents found Not Guilty By Reason oflnsanity. <br /> <br />2. That no local match is required for the grant. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenue in the FY 2008-2009 Behavioral Healthcare Services <br />Fund ()perating Budget is increased by $2,000, and that said amount is appropriated in the <br />FY 2008-2009 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund Operating Budget. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />November 10, 2008. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
