<br />o,(U1NANCE lIO~oo8-62 .' <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,478 FROM <br />THE BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE OF THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF <br />JUSTICE AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2008-2009 <br />GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE <br />TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City ofPort~p1outh, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $50,478 from the Bureau <br />of Justice Assistance of the U.S. Department of Justice for use by the Police Department <br />to purchase technology and equipment. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of $50,478 is appropriated in the FY 2008-2009 Grants <br /> <br />Fund. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2008-2009 Grants Fund are increased <br />by $50,478. <br /> <br />4.
