<br />&itUllNANCEHO.2 0 0 8 - 49 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE AN ADDITIONAL $12,299 IN THE FY <br />2008-2009 GENERAL FUND OPERATING BUDGET FOR AN INCREASE IN <br />THE ANNUAL SALARY OF THE COMMISSIONER OF THE REVENUE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia that: <br /> <br />1. The State Compensation Board has provided an additional $12,299 in <br />funds for the purpose of increasing the annual salary of the Commissioner of the <br />Revenue; and <br /> <br />2. The sum of the $12,299 is appropriated in the FY 2008-2009 General <br />Fund ()perating Budget for said purpose; and <br /> <br />3. Revenue in the FY 2008-2009 General Fund Operating Budget is <br />increased by $12,299. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 22, 2008. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
