"t"~tU'[ liD 200,8-50 <br />~~4 . ~11iYlttl, " ~~.~ - pq. . <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA COMMISSION FOR THE ARTS AND <br />APPROPRIA TING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2008-2009 GRANTS FUND <br />FOR THE 38th ANNUAL SEAWALL ART SHOW. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts a grant in the amount of <br />$5,000 from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and appropriates said amount <br />in the FY 2008-2009 Grants Fund for use by the Department of Museums for the <br />38th Annual Seawall Art Show. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2008-2009 Grants <br />Fund is increased by $5,000. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />meeting held on July 22,2008. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
