<br />oRJJ1HANC[ 1W~2 0 ~~_" <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE AN ADDITIONAL $10,763 IN THE FY <br />2008-2009 GENERAL FUND OPERATING BUDGET FOR AN INCREASE IN <br />THE SHERIFF'S ANNUAL SALARY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia that: <br /> <br />1. The State Compensation Board has provided an additional $10,763 III <br />funds for the purpose of increasing the Sheriff s annual salary; and <br /> <br />2. The sum of the $10,763 is appropriated in the FY 2008-2009 General <br />Fund ()perating Budget for said purpose; and <br /> <br />3. Revenue in the FY 2008-2009 General Fund ()perating Budget is <br />increased by $10,763. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 22, 2008. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
