<br />ORDlMAMCE MO. :~? 0 8 ~4 4. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $49,407 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIA TING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2007-2008 GRANTS FUND <br />OPERA TING BUDGET FOR THE FY 2008 "FOUR FOR LIFE" EMERGENCY <br />MEDICAL SERVICES PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $49,407 from the Virginia <br />Office of Emergency Medical Services to be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue, and <br />Emergency Services for the FY "Four for Life" Emergency Medical Services Program. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of $49,407 is hereby appropriated in the FY 2008 Grants <br />Fund Operating Budget for said purpose, and that revenues in said Fund are increased by <br />the same amount. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 24, 2008. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
