<br />URDINANCE MO.~~OO'a-43. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $1,500,000 FROM THE <br />FY 2007-2008 RISK MANAGEMENT FUND AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM <br />IN THE FY 2007-2008 GENERAL FUND OPERATING BUDGET. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the transfer of the sum of$1,500,000 from the FY 2007-2008 Risk <br />Management Fund to the FY 2007-2008 General Fund Operating Budget is hereby <br />authorized. <br /> <br />2. That the source of said funds was an insurance settlement resulting from a <br />fire at the former Hunt-Mapp Middle School. <br /> <br />3. That revenues in the FY 2007-2008 General Fund Operating Budget are <br />hereby increased by $1,500,000, and said funds are appropriated in the FY 2007-2008 <br />General Fund ()perating Budget. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council ofthe City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 10,2008. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
