<br /> <br />~;,-, 2007:~05 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING IN THE FY 2007-2008 BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND OPERATING BUDGET $750 IN FUNDS <br />ALLOCATED BY THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH, <br />MENTAL RETARDATION, AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE TO THE <br />PORTSMOUTH DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES <br />FOR GUARDIAN COSTS, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the sum of $750 allocated to the Portsmouth Department of <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services by the Virginia Department of Mental Health, Mental <br />Retardation, and Substance Abuse is hereby appropriated in the FY 2007-2008 <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund Operating Budget. <br /> <br />2. That said funds shall be used towards the costs associated with obtaining a <br />guardian for an individual diagnosed with mental retardation. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2007-2008 Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services Fund Operating Budget are increased by $750. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 27,2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
