<br />ORDINANCE MO.~?~.6 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING IN THE FY 2007-2008 BEHAVIORAL <br />HEAL THCARE SERVICES FUND OPERATING BUDGET $1000 IN FUNDS <br />ALLOCATED BY THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH, <br />MENTAL RETARDATION, AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE TO THE <br />PORTSMOUTH DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEAL THCARE SERVICES <br />FOR DISCHARGE ASSISTANCE SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS FOUND NOT <br />GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the sum of $1000 allocated to the Portsmouth Department of <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services by the Virginia Department of Mental Health, Mental <br />Retardation, and Substance Abuse is hereby appropriated in the FY 2007-2008 <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund Operating Budget. <br /> <br />2. That said funds shall be used to provide discharge assistance services to <br />individuals found not guilty of criminal charges by reason of insanity. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2007-2008 Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services Fund Operating Budget are increased by $1000. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 27, 2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
