<br />i <br />! <br /> <br />, <br />, <br />'1 <br />'1 <br />1 <br />>.~ <br />J <br />'I <br />,1 <br />1 <br />j <br />1 <br />j <br />I <br />j <br />i <br />, <br />, <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO.~2~~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,400 FROM <br />THE SENIOR SERVICES OF SOUTHEASTERN VIRGINIA AND <br />APPROPRIATING THE SAME AMOUNT IN THE FY 2007-2008 GRANTS <br />FUND TO FUND A DVD LIBRARY AND A QUARTERLY SPEAKER'S <br />PROGRAM AT THE SENIOR STATION. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant from the Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia <br />in the amount of $1,400 to fund a DVD library and a quarterly speaker's program at the <br />Senior Station. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of $1,400 is hereby appropriated in the FY 2007-2008 <br />Grants Fund for said purpose. <br /> <br />3. <br />by $1,400, <br /> <br />That estimated revenues in the FY 2007-2008 Grants Fund are increased <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 27,2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
