<br />oounwr.E .2007-90.__' <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE AN ADDITIONAL $69,380 IN THE FY <br />2007-2008 GENERAL FUND OPERATING BUDGET TO FUND THE COST OF <br />TWO NEW DEPUTY I POSITIONS IN THE CITY TREASURER'S OFFICE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the sum of $69,380 is appropriated in the FY 2007-2008 General <br />Fund Operating Budget to fund two new Deputy I positions in the City Treasurer's <br />Office. <br /> <br />2. That the sources of the funds appropriated will be $19,092 from the State <br />Compensation Board and $50,288 from additional administrative fees expected to be <br />charged for the collection of late or overdue personal property taxes. <br /> <br />3. That revenues in FY 2007-2008 General Fund Operating Budget are <br />increased by $69,380. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 9, 2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
