<br />rmDINAIEE __2007-84 _ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $317,522 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2007-2008 GRANTS FUND <br />FOR USE BY THE COMMONWEALTH'S ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR THE <br />VICTIM WITNESS PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $317,522 from the <br />Department of Criminal Justice Services for use by the Commonwealth's Attorney's <br />Office <br /> <br />2. That the sum of $317,522 is appropriated in the FY 2007-2008 Grants <br />Fund for the above purposes, and that estimated revenue in said Fund is increased by <br />$317,522. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council ofthe City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 28, 2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
