<br />ORDtNANCE .~.7-8~ - <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE REALLOCATION OF $70,399 IN <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS IN THE <br />2004, 2005, AND 2006 ACTION PLANS. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That $32,105 remain in unexpended 2004 and 2005 Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan funds for ~ 108 projects; and <br /> <br />2. That $10,890 remain in unexpended 2005 CDBG Action Plan funds <br />awarded to, but not utilized by, the Portsmouth Community Health Department for a <br />diabetic educator; and <br /> <br />3. That $27,404 remain in unexpended 2006 CDBG Action Plan funds <br />awarded to the Portsmouth Police Department for a Weed and Seed Program coordinator, <br />but funded from another source; and <br /> <br />4. That the City Council hereby approves changes to the 2004, 2005, and <br />2006 Community Development Block Grant Action Plans by reallocating the above- <br />mentioned funds, totaling $70,399, to fund the Summer Homeless Shelter Program. <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 28, 2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
