<br />lIIlIWEE .. ~?~ 7 -8 ~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING IN THE FY 2007-2008 GENERAL FUND <br />AN ALLOCATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,063 FROM THE LIBRARY OF <br />VIRGINIA TO FUND COMPLIANCE WITH FILTERING REQUIREMENTS <br />FOR PUBLIC USE INTERNET COMPUTERS IN THE PUBLIC LIBRARIES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates in the FY 2007-2008 General Fund an <br />allocation in the amount of $2,063 received by the Portsmouth Public Library from the <br />Library of Virginia to be used to fund equipment, software, telecommunications or <br />processes directly related to compliance with state filtering requirements for public use <br />internet computers in public libraries. <br /> <br />2. <br />by $2,063. <br /> <br />That estimated revenues in the FY 2007-2008 General Fund are increased <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 28, 2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
