<br />~lD'1f~' ,.:;ote 1'lVlilbo07-65 <br />~W.li', -. ~k J~I___ ___. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING IN THE FY 2006-2007 GRANTS FUND A <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $850,538.95 RECEIVED BY THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF PARKS, RECREATION, AND LEISURE SERVICES FROM THE UNITED <br />STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $850,538.95 from the <br />United States Department of Agriculture and appropriates said sum in the 2006-2007 <br />Grants Fund to be employed by the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Leisure <br />Services to provide summer meals for out-of-school children. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenues in the FY 2006-2007 Grant Fund are increased by <br />$850,538.95. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 26, 2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
