<br />Oi,...iWU 10_2002:-63 <br /> <br />ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-07-07 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Commercial C-2 and Residential <br />RM-60 the property described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-07-07, is <br />hereby amended and changed so as to show said property zoned as RM-60-K <br />(Conditional), and that said property is hereby zoned as RM-60-K (Conditional), <br /> <br />2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being zoned from <br />Commercial C-2 and Residential RM-60 to RM-60-K (Conditional), is furthermore <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-07-07 <br /> <br />Beginning at a point at the northeast comer of Lenora <br />Avenue and Mascott Street; thence, in a northwesterly direction <br />120.43' to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction 99.99' to a <br />point; thence, in a northwesterly direction 9.07' to a point; thence, <br />in a northeasterly direction 59.81' to a point; thence, in a <br />southeasterly direction 99.26' to a point; thence, in southwesterly <br />direction 147.30' to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction <br />143.78' to a point of the beginning. <br /> <br />3. That the subject property shall be subject to the following conditions as <br />proffered by the applicant for rezoning: <br /> <br />(a) The rezoned property will be used for the construction of a church <br />building and religious activities. <br /> <br />(b) Design and construction of the building and site improvements will <br />comply with all applicable codes and regulations <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on June 26, 2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
