<br />JRDfNANCE Mlh007-60 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $83,350 IN THE FY 2007-2008 GENERAL <br />FUND FOR THE COST OF TWO ADDITIONAL DEPUTY SHERIFFS IN THE <br />GENERAL DISTRICT COURT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the sum of $83,500 is hereby appropriated in the FY 2007-2008 <br />General Fund, and that estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by $83,500. <br /> <br />2. That the funding source for said appropriation will be previously <br />unappropriated court security fees and other miscellaneous revenues. <br /> <br />3. That said appropriation will be expended for salaries, benefits, and other <br />costs of two deputy sheriffs to provide additional security to the Portsmouth General <br />District Court in FY 2007-2008. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1,2007. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on May 22,2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
