<br />ORDlNAHCr HOf006-10S <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,600 FROM <br />THE E. C. WAREHEIM FOUNDATION AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2006-2007 GRANTS FUND BUDGET FOR <br />MOTORCYCLE COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT FOR THE SHERIFF'S <br />DEPARTMENT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmollth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts grant funds in the amount of <br />$6,600 from the E. C. Wareheim Foundation and appropriates said amount in the FY <br />2006-2007 Grants Fund Budget to be used by the Sheriffs Department for the purchase <br />of motorcycle communications equipment. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenues in the FY 2006-2007 Grants Fund Budget are <br />increased by $6,600. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on December 12, 2006. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Ckrk <br />
