<br />ORDINANCE 1O.?QQl~7 .. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $30,000 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2006-2007 GRANTS FUND <br />BUDGET FOR THE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SOUTHSIDE TIDEWATER <br />TEAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts grant funds in the amount of <br />$30,000 from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management and appropriates said <br />amount in the FY 2006-2007 Grants Fund Budget to be used for the Hazardous Materials <br />Southside Tidewater Team. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenues in the FY 2006-2007 Grants Fund Budget are <br />increased by $30,000. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on November 28, 2006. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
