<br />u~.;OO6.~- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,850 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA COMMISSION FOR THE ARTS AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2006-2007 GRANTS FUND TO SUPPORT THE <br />OUTDOOR SCULPTURE COMPETITION AND EXHIBITION AT THE <br />COURTHOUSE GALLERIES IN 2007. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant in the amount of <br />$2,850 from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and appropriates said amount in the <br />FY 2006-2007 Grants Fund to support the Outdoor Sculpture Competition and Exhibition <br />at the Courthouse Galleries in 2007. <br /> <br />2. That a cash match in the amount of $3,935 has previously been <br />appropriated. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenue in the FY 2006-2007 Grants Fund is increased by <br />$2,850. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on August 8, 2006. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
