<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />'1?'\nc"AUI'[ lift:, <br />Ui [iJji~ 11lI fM.Q..,~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE FUND FOR THE <br />IMPROVEMENT OF EDUCATION AND APPROPRIATING $114,080 IN THE <br />FY 2005-2006 GRANTS FUND FOR AN AFTER-SCHOOL VISUAL AND <br />PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM IN THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts a grant from the Fund for the <br />Improvement of Education in the amount of $114,080 and appropriates said amount in <br />the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund Operating Budget for an after-school visual and <br />performing arts program in the Portsmouth Public Schools. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund Operating <br />Budget is increased by $114,080. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1,2005. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on June 28, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
