<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2005-21 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $14,707 FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF <br />VIRGINIA COMPENSATION BOARD AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT <br />IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR STAFF SALARY ADJUSTMENTS IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts $14,707 from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia Compensation Board and appropriates said amount in the <br />General Fund for staff salary adjustments in the Office of the Circuit Court Clerk. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2004-2005 General Fund <br />Operating Budget is increased by $14,707. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on March 22, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
