<br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />UKUlNANCE NO.2005-17 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,547 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH OFFICE OF EMERGENCY <br />MEDICAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE <br />GRANTS FUND FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES TRAINING, <br />EQUIPMENT, AND SUPPLIES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant in the amount of <br />$35,547 from the Virginia Department of Health Office of Emergency Medical Services <br />and appropriates said amount in the Grants Fund for Emergency Medical Services <br />training, equipment, and supplies. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2004-2005 Operating Budget <br />is increased by $35,547. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on March 8, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
