<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, ..diAt~CE NOtoo"~~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $310,430 AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE <br />GRANTS FUND FOR THE VICTIM WITNESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services in the amount of <br />$310,430 and appropriates said amount in the Grants Fund for the Victim Witness <br />Assistance Program. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2004-2005 Operating Budget <br />is increased by $310,430. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on February 22, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
