<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDiNANCE NO~005-18 <br /> <br />ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-05-03 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Residential RS-150 the property <br />described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-05-03, is hereby amended and <br />changed so as to show said property zoned as Office Residential OR-75-K (Conditional), <br />and that said property is hereby zoned as Office Residential OR-75-K (Conditional), <br /> <br />2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being zoned from <br />Residential RS-150 to Office Residential OR-75-K (Conditional), is furthermore <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-05-03 <br /> <br />Beginning at a point 170 feet west of the northwestern <br />corner of the intersection of West High Street and Cedar Lane, <br />thence north approximately 183 feet, thence east approximately 67 <br />feet, thence north west approximately 142 feet, thence north <br />approximately 192 feet, thence west approximately 120 feet, <br />thence south east approximately 524 feet, and then finally east <br />approximately 80 feet to the point of origin <br /> <br />3. That the subject property shall be subject to the following conditions as <br />proffered by the applicant for rezoning: <br /> <br />(a) The use of the property shall be limited to a membership sports and <br />recreation club and physical therapy and rehabilitation center. <br /> <br />(b) The use of the tennis courts will be restricted to the hours of normal <br />operations of the YMCA. Those hours are: Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM <br />to 9:30 PM, Friday 6:30AM to 9:00PM, Saturday 8:00AM to 5:00 PM, <br />and Sunday 1 :OOPM to 5:00 PM. <br /> <br />(c) Exterior lights for the tennis courts will be of such design and location so <br />as to prohibit direct lighting from overlapping adjacent property lines. <br /> <br />(d) Landscape screening will be planted and maintained along the exterior of <br />the tennis court facing adjacent to the residential properties of West wood <br />subdivision. Landscaping shall substantially conform to Landscaping <br />Group 1 (Opaque Screen) as defined by Section 40-73(a) of the Zoning <br />Ordinance with the following modifications: <br />
