<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2005-12 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF <br />HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) IN THE AMOUNT OF $99,410 <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR THE <br />CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF VIRGINIA. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City of Portsmouth hereby accepts a grant from the U.S. <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development in the amount of $99,410 and <br />appropriates said amount in the Grants Fund for renovation of the Bubble Room in the <br />Children's Museum of Virginia. <br /> <br />2. That the City's estimated revenue in the FY 2004-2005 Operating Budget <br />is increased by $99,410. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on February 22,2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
