<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />OllDlNANCE No..2002-~~_ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO REPROGRAM $491,225 WITHIN THE 2004-2005 <br />GENERAL FUND FOR VARIOUS PROPOSED EXPENDITURES BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City's Department of General Services has determined that it <br />requires additional funding in the amount of $491,225 for various contractual services, <br />properties' management, and maintenance and repair expenditures through June 30, <br />2005. <br /> <br />2. That funds within the FY 2004-2005 General Fund and identified on the <br />attached Schedule have been determined as appropriate for reprogramming to meet the <br />needs of the Department of General Services; and <br /> <br />3. That reprogramming of the funds in the manner described above is in the <br />best interest of the City; and <br /> <br />4. That the reprogramming of funds totaling $491,225 within the 2004-2005 <br />General Fund for the purposes and in the manner described above is hereby authorized <br />pursuant to the requirements of City Code section 12-5. <br /> <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on February 22, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
