<br />ORDINANCE NO,~S-107 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,322.76 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES AND <br />APPROPRIATING THE SAME AMOUNT IN THE 2005-2006 GRANTS FUND <br />FOR USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF A RADAR UNIT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant from the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles in <br />the amount of $1,322.76 for use by the Portsmouth Police Department for the purchase of <br />a radar unit and appropriates said amount in the 2005-2006 Grants Fund. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund is increased by <br />$1,322.76. <br /> <br />3.
