<br />ORDINANCE NO.200s-106 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,840 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND <br />APPROPRIATING THE SAME AMOUNT IN THE 2005-2006 GRANTS FUND <br />FOR USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE, AND <br />EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR THE CITIZENS CORPS COUNCIL <br />PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it accepts a grant from the Virginia Department of Emergency <br />Management in the amount of $3,840 for use by the Portsmouth Department of Fire, <br />Rescue, and Emergency Services for the Citizens Corps Council Program. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of $3,840 is hereby appropriated in the 2005-2006 Grants <br /> <br />Fund. <br /> <br />3. <br />$3,840. <br /> <br />That estimated revenue in the FY 2005-2006 Grants Fund is increased by <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on December 13,2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />
