<br />. <br /> <br />traffic infraction and shall be subject to a fine of not more than fifty dollars ($50.00). <br /> <br />Sec. 22-708. Playing on streets, highways, sidewalks; use of roller skates, toys, or <br />other devices on wheels or runners. <br /> <br />(a) No person shall play on a highway or street, other that upon the sidewalks <br />thereof, within the city. No person shall use on a highway or street where play is <br />prohibited on roller skates, toys or other devices on wheels or runners, except bicycles, <br />mopeds, motorized push scooters and motorcycles. <br /> <br />(b) On highways or streets where play is prohibited, the City Manager may <br />designate areas in which persons may be permitted to use roller skates, toys or other <br />devices on wheels and runners, and, if such highways or streets have two (2) traffic lanes, <br />such persons using such devices, except bicycles, mopeds, motorized push scooters and <br />motorcycles, shall keep as near as reasonably possible to the extreme left side or edge of <br />the left hand lane so that they will be facing oncoming traffic at all times. <br /> <br />(c) No person riding upon any moped, motorized push scooters~ roller skates, <br />toys or other devices on wheels or runners shall at the same time attach the same or <br />himself to any vehicle upon a roadway. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(d) No person operating a moped, motorized push scooter, or other device on <br />wheels or runners shall tow any person on a bicycle, skateboard, skates, or any other <br />vehicle or method of conveyance. <br /> <br />(e) <br />sidewalk. <br /> <br />No person shall operate a moped or motorized push scooter on a public <br /> <br />Sec. 25-120. Vehicles, traffic, where prohibited. <br /> <br />(c) No person shall use or ride any motorized vehicle, moped, motorcycle or <br />motorized push scooter off of the roadway or in any area not designated or customarily <br />used for vehicle travel in any park, parkway, beach, or any grounds for recreational or <br />playground use, unless on authorized business for the city or pursuant to an authorized <br />permit issued by the director. <br /> <br />(d) A violation of this section shall constitute a traffic infraction punishable <br />by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />
